FUE Hair Transplant Treatment

With the growing demand for hair transplants, FUE is one of many techniques that have been used. Unlike strip surgery where linear scarring occurs at donor sites and makes your head look unnatural in comparison.

FUT process does not produce as much damage or leave any scars behind due to its minimally invasive nature.

FUE technique uses a specially designed tool to remove hair follicles from the donor site and implant them at different areas of your head. The end result is faster growth with no painful surgery!

What Wonder Result You Get From FUE

With FUE hair transplants, you can have the appearance of a full head of natural-looking locks.

This is because it uses follicles from multiple donors to give patients their desired look without risking donor site reactions or scarring that may occur with other techniques. Such as strip surgeries which use one single source for all grafts needed on patients’ heads at once!

There are also no guarantees about how long these new hairs will stay in place but we do know they’re most likely going to stick around for life!

Techniques Involved in FUE Procedure

Follicular Unit Extraction is when hair follicles are taken out of your head. There are two different ways to do it:

  • Manual FUE in which a surgeon pulls the hair follicles out with a special tool, and
  • Motorized or automated FUE uses an automatic tool to pull the hair follicles out more quickly.

Let’s have a look at the procedure of FUE.

FUE Procedure

Step 1: To get grafts, the hair will be shaved in the donor area. The hair will be cut very short to remove it. This is just for less than 1,500 grafts.

Step 2: The doctor will draw the hairline where you want it. This is to make sure that all of the hair is transplanted into the correct areas.

Step 3: The doctor will give you a shot of anesthesia to make the area where they are taking hair numb so that it doesn’t hurt when they take out the follicular units.

Step 4: The surgeon then starts the process of getting hair. They use a tool that is smaller than 1 mm in diameter to get at the roots of the hair.

Step 5: The doctor cuts the hair off the person’s head in a special way. They do this under a microscope to make sure they get the right size of grafts.

Step 6: The surgeon then carefully inserts each graft into these tiny holes that were made in the skin.
